Practically ThereLike a journey that is nearly complete, a thirst about to be quenched or a wish not far from being fulfilled, Practically There is where anticipation and actuality intersect. Here you will find practical solutions, humor, an opinion or two, suggestions, instructions and ruminations on just being. There's a little something for everyone; sort of like a sampler for the psyche. |

Pamela A. Chester lives in upstate with her three gifted children (an unabashedly partial and prejudiced opinion, granted), two relatively unwell jade plants, a myriad of assorted animals at any given time and one very understanding and patient husband, William.
Pam has been an artist, author, small publisher (the publishing house was small, Pam is regular size), art director, deputy town clerk, a gallery assistant and a waitress (an awful one at that – too busy trying out a stand-up routine so the food was always cold). She dreams of one day being a ballerina-fry cook -TV critic – plus sized hand model.
On a slightly more serious note, Pam has authored and illustrated six children's books and is currently smack dab in the middle of writing three young adult novels and syndicating a comic strip. All in all though, being "Mom" is job number one.
